I'm normally a PRS fan, but Gibson wins this one. (A completely random post, but so what.)
PRS Double Neck Dragon (really cool)
Gibson Double Neck (in my opinion even cooler)
I've finally found found a Gibson that I like better than its PRS counterpart. This gibson just looks so vintage (reminiscent of Jimmy Page) and I'm not sure that the usually great PRS tone would sound right coming out of a classic configuration like that. The true double neck is the Gibson EDS-1275. I think the thing that bothers me about the whole situation is that the gibson version is a time tested rock icon, where as the PRS version, most people wouldn't even play for fear of scratching it. I think it lists for $75,000 or something like that. Thats a lot of bread to bring to a gig.
By the way, this is the only situation where, in my opinion, Gibson beats out PRS. (That's why it's worth mentioning.)
